Marussia or HRT could be the next “Red Bull”

There’s a chance that Cosworth could produce a turbo engine that’s at least a match for it’s rivals in 2014. They’ve been developing turbo engines for Indycar/Champcars for ages and it would not be a huge surprise if they could build an engine that’s more reliable or has 15 mor horsepower, or is more driveable than P.U.R.E or Mercedes etc.
Ok Red Bull inherited the Jaguar ( Formerly Stewart Grand Prix team ) and then lured one of the most successful F1 car designers, but who is to say that with enough backing another team such as HRT or Marussia couldn’t achieve the same?
Remember when Alonso appeared on the scene and was getting the Minardi halfway up the field at the start of a Grand Prix?
Jordan came to F1 only ever having prepared F3000 cars – and made an impact pretty quickly with a young driver ( Michael Schumacher! ).
If anybody thinks the 2014 season will be just Red Bull V McLaren then I would say that’s unlikely – look at how Brabham and McLaren improved so much in 83/84 once they had their hands on a powerful new turbo engine that their rivals didn’t have. ( Yes I know, ATS used the BMW engine too, but it wasn’t going to be a match for Piquet & Gordon Murray ).
