So some people are saying that the 15,000 rpm 1.6 V6 turbos wont make such a good sound…
Ok, so this is true, if you are at the circuit, but on TV it wont make much difference, and after all TV is what makes Mr Ecllestone his money!
13,000rpm 1.5 litre turbo engines seemed to be OK for the spectators before, so why the big fuss now?
Admittedly it would sound a bit dull compared to 19,000rpm engines in use at the moment, but as long as they’re just as fast, I don’t see any reason why they wont be just as popular with the crowds!
